Dominant groups
An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in the City of Playford in 2020/21 shows the three largest industries were:
- Construction ($1,187million or 26.9%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($617million or 14.0%)
- Education and Training ($310million or 7.0%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $2,115 million in total or 47.9% of the total local sales by total industry in the the City of Playford.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in South Australia accounted for 21.6% in Construction; 7.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance and 4.5% in Education and Training.
