An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in RDA BGLAP Region in 2018/19 shows the three largest industries were:
- Construction ($794million or 22.4%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($386million or 10.9%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($279million or 7.9%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $1,458 million in total or 41.1% of the total local sales by total industry in the RDA BGLAP Region.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in South Australia accounted for 22.8% in Construction; 2.7% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing and 7.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
The major differences between local sales by industries of RDA BGLAP Region and South Australia were:
