An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in RDA Darling Downs and South West Region in 2018/19 shows the three largest industries were:
- Mining ($6,615 million or 38.9%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($4,377 million or 25.7%)
- Manufacturing ($1,649 million or 9.7%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $12,641 million in total or 74.3% of the total exports by total industry in the RDA Darling Downs and South West Region.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Queensland accounted for 25.6% in Mining; 7.0% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; and 15.5% in Manufacturing.
