- Mining ($9,226 million or 47.3%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($3,694 million or 18.9%)
- Manufacturing ($1,842 million or 9.4%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $14,763 million in total or 75.7% of the total imports by industry in the the RDA Darling Downs and South West Region.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Queensland accounted for 27.1% in Mining; 5.4% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing and 15.2% in Manufacturing.
The major differences between total imports by industries of the RDA Darling Downs and South West Region and Queensland were:
