Dominant groups

An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the Bulloo Shire in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($34 million or 31.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services ($15 million or 13.6%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services ($9 million or 7.8%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $58 million in total or 52.7% of the total imports by industry in the the Bulloo Shire.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Queensland accounted for 33.3% in Manufacturing; 7.7% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services and 8.3% in Financial and Insurance Services.
