Dominant groups
An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the Goondiwindi Regional Council area in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:

- Financial and Insurance Services ($131 million or 11.5%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($120 million or 10.5%)
