Analysis of the resident workers (Retail Trade) individual income levels in the RDA Darling Downs and South West Region in 2016 compared to Arts and Recreation Services shows that there was a higher proportion earning a high income (those earning $1,750 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income persons (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 3.8% of the resident workers (Retail Trade) earned a high income, and 33.6% earned a low income, compared with 3.0% and 38.0% respectively for Arts and Recreation Services.
