An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in the RDA Eyre Peninsula Region in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Construction ($893million or 23.7%)
  • Manufacturing ($361million or 9.6%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($320million or 8.5%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $1,574 million in total or 41.7% of the total local sales by total industry in the the RDA Eyre Peninsula Region.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in South Australia accounted for 24.1% in Construction; 7.4% in Manufacturing and 4.2% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing.

The major differences between local sales by industries of the RDA Eyre Peninsula Region and South Australia were:
