Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the Lockyer Valley Regional Council in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (940 million or 49.1%)
- Manufacturing (434 million or 22.7%)
- Transport, Postal and Warehousing (207 million or 10.8%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 1,581 million in total or 82.7% of the total exports by industry in the the Lockyer Valley Regional Council.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Queensland accounted for 7.8% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 15.2% in Manufacturing and 9.7% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.
The major differences between the total exports by industries of the Lockyer Valley Regional Council and Queensland were:
