Analysis of the jobs held by the resident workforce in the Lockyer Valley Regional Council in 2021shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (2,440 people or 13.6%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,012 people or 11.2%)
  • Education and Training (1,551 people or 8.6%)

In comparison, Queensland employed 2.6% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 15.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance and 8.8% in Education and Training.
