An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the Noosa Shire Council area in 2018/19 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Accommodation and Food Services (282 million or 24.0%)
  • Retail Trade (164 million or 13.9%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (119 million or 10.1%)

In combination these three industries accounted for 565 million in total or 48.1% of the total exports by industry in the the Noosa Shire Council area.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Queensland accounted for 3.3% in Accommodation and Food Services; 3.6% in Retail Trade and 5.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance.

The major differences between the total exports by industries of the Noosa Shire Council area and Queensland were:
