An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula in 2017/18 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing ($94 million or 23.1%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($44 million or 10.8%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($36 million or 9.0%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $174 million in total or 42.9% of the total imports by total industry in District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Regional SA accounted for 29.1% in Manufacturing; 7.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 10.3% in Financial and Insurance Services.
The major differences between total imports by industries in District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula and Regional SA were:
