Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Gympie Regional Council in 2016/17 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($522 million or 46.7%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($215 million or 19.3%)
  • Mining ($97 million or 8.7%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $834 million in total or 74.7% of the total exports by total industry in Gympie Regional Council.
