Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in RDA Yorke and Mid North Region in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (2,244 million or 55.6%)
  • Manufacturing (1,150 million or 28.5%)
  • Mining (123 million or 3.0%)

In combination these three industries accounted for 3,518 million in total or 87.2% of the total exports by industry in the RDA Yorke and Mid North Region.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in South Australia accounted for 14.3% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 18.6% in Manufacturing and 3.4% in Mining.

The major differences between the total exports by industries of RDA Yorke and Mid North Region and South Australia were:
