Output by industry is a gross measure of the total sales of each industry sector in the City of Rockingham. It does not measure how productive each industry sector is at producing this output - which is measured by value added.

- Public Administration and Safety ($1,901 million or 17.2%)

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 10.5% in Construction; 2.7% in Public Administration and Safety and 10.0% in Manufacturing.
