Analysis of the Mining individual income levels in the Scenic Rim Regional Council in 2016 compared to the Transport, Postal and Warehousing workforce within Scenic Rim Regional Council shows that there was a higher proportion earning a high income (those earning $1,750 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income persons (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 28.8% of the Mining earned a high income, and 0.0% earned a low income, compared with 5.8% and 21.1% respectively for the Transport, Postal and Warehousing workforce within Scenic Rim Regional Council.
