Analysis of the individual income levels in the Scenic Rim Regional Council in 2016 compared to Queensland shows that there was a higher proportion earning a high income (those earning $1,750 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income persons (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 7.7% of the local workers (Manufacturing) earned a high income, and 17.6% earned a low income, compared with 16.0% and 9.3% respectively for Queensland.
