An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Construction ($442million or 34.9%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($113million or 8.9%)
- Education and Training ($95million or 7.5%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $650 million in total or 51.3% of the total local sales by total industry in the the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 19.6% in Construction; 2.4% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing and 3.1% in Education and Training.
