An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Shoalhaven City in 2020/21 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing (717 million or 29.8%)
- Public Administration and Safety (622 million or 25.9%)
- Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services (287 million or 11.9%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 1,626 million in total or 67.6% of the total exports by industry in the Shoalhaven City.
