Analysis of the resident workers individual income levels in The Hills Shire in 2016 compared to Accommodation and Food Services shows that there was a higher proportion earning a high income (those earning $1,750 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income persons (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 29.4% of the resident workers earned a high income, and 16.4% earned a low income, compared with 5.4% and 51.3% respectively for Accommodation and Food Services.
