Dominant groups
An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in the City of Wodonga in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:
- Construction ($782million or 22.0%)
- Manufacturing ($411million or 11.6%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($344million or 9.7%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $1,537 million in total or 43.3% of the total local sales by total industry in the the City of Wodonga.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Regional VIC accounted for 22.8% in Construction; 8.1% in Manufacturing and 9.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
The major differences between local sales by industries of the City of Wodonga and Regional VIC were:
