Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident workers in the MidCoast Council area in 2021shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (5,650 people or 16.6%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (5,116 people or 15.0%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (4,930 people or 14.5%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 15,696 people in total or 46.1% of the resident workers (All industries).
