Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Noosa Shire Council area in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Accommodation and Food Services (168 million or 14.0%)
- Retail Trade (148 million or 12.3%)
- Manufacturing (125 million or 10.4%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 441 million in total or 36.7% of the total exports by industry in the Noosa Shire Council area.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Queensland accounted for 1.9% in Accommodation and Food Services; 2.3% in Retail Trade and 15.2% in Manufacturing.
