Dominant groups
An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the Lismore City in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing ($701 million or 37.4%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($204 million or 10.8%)
- Transport, Postal and Warehousing ($175 million or 9.3%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $1,080 million in total or 57.5% of the total imports by industry in the the Lismore City.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in NSW accounted for 31.7% in Manufacturing; 8.2% in Financial and Insurance Services and 8.3% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.
The major differences between total imports by industries of the Lismore City and NSW were:
