Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the City of Prospect in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Information Media and Telecommunications (131 million or 36.9%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (64 million or 17.8%)
- Retail Trade (52 million or 14.7%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 247 million in total or 69.5% of the total exports by industry in the the City of Prospect.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in South Australia accounted for 3.1% in Information Media and Telecommunications; 9.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance and 3.5% in Retail Trade.
