- Public Administration and Safety ($1,133 million or 8.9%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($968 million or 7.6%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $6,495 million in total or 50.8% of the total imports by industry in the Sutherland Shire.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Greater Sydney accounted for 32.5% in Manufacturing; 5.9% in Public Administration and Safety and 7.7% in Financial and Insurance Services.
The major differences between total imports by industries of Sutherland Shire and Greater Sydney were:
