- Construction ($179million or 13.6%)
- Manufacturing ($135million or 10.2%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $620 million in total or 47.0% of the total local sales by total industry in the Burdekin Shire.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Queensland accounted for 1.9% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 20.2% in Construction and 7.7% in Manufacturing.
