Dominant groups
An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the City of Cockburn in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing ($2,425 million or 25.4%)
- Mining ($2,275 million or 23.9%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($871 million or 9.1%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $5,570 million in total or 58.4% of the total imports by industry in the the City of Cockburn.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 26.7% in Manufacturing; 17.9% in Mining and 9.0% in Financial and Insurance Services.
