Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the Alice Springs Town Council LGA in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (383 million or 31.5%)
- Manufacturing (201 million or 16.5%)
- Public Administration and Safety (172 million or 14.2%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 755 million in total or 62.3% of the total exports by industry in the the Alice Springs Town Council LGA.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Northern Territory accounted for 3.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 7.8% in Manufacturing and 8.9% in Public Administration and Safety.
