Output by industry is a gross measure of the total sales of each industry sector in the City of Subiaco. It does not measure how productive each industry sector is at producing this output - which is measured by value added.

An analysis of the output by industry sectors in the City of Subiaco in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:
- Mining ($1,321 million or 17.9%)
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services ($1,203 million or 16.3%)
- Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services ($923 million or 12.5%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $3,447 million in total or 46.8% of the total output by total industry in the the City of Subiaco.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 38.7% in Mining; 4.3% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services and 2.9% in Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services.
