Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Western Downs Regional Council in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Mining (4,640 million or 69.0%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (1,348 million or 20.1%)
- Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services (336 million or 5.0%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 6,324 million in total or 94.1% of the total exports by industry in the Western Downs Regional Council.
