Analysis of the jobs held by the resident workforce in the City of Wodonga in 2021shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (3,494 people or 16.9%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (2,404 people or 11.6%)
  • Retail Trade (2,242 people or 10.8%)

In combination these three industries employed 8,140 people in total or 39.3% of the total resident workforce.

In comparison, Victoria employed 14.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 5.6% in Public Administration and Safety and 9.4% in Retail Trade.
