Dominant groups
An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing ($347 million or 30.3%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($112 million or 9.8%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($112 million or 9.8%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $570 million in total or 49.9% of the total imports by industry in the the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 26.7% in Manufacturing; 4.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance and 9.0% in Financial and Insurance Services.
The major differences between total imports by industries of the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River and Western Australia were:
