An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the Noosa Shire Council in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($904 million or 33.4%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance ($272 million or 10.0%)
  • Public Administration and Safety ($255 million or 9.4%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $1,431 million in total or 52.8% of the total imports by industry in the the Noosa Shire Council.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Queensland accounted for 33.3% in Manufacturing; 4.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance and 5.4% in Public Administration and Safety.
