An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the Shire of Harvey in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($736 million or 29.2%)
  • Mining ($284 million or 11.3%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance ($252 million or 10.0%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $1,272 million in total or 50.5% of the total imports by industry in the the Shire of Harvey.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 26.0% in Manufacturing; 25.9% in Mining and 4.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
