Analysis of the jobs held by the resident workforce in the Shire of Harvey in 2021shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Manufacturing (1,784 people or 13.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,568 people or 11.6%)
  • Construction (1,430 people or 10.6%)

In combination these three industries employed 4,782 people in total or 35.5% of the total resident workforce.

In comparison, Western Australia employed 5.3% in Manufacturing; 13.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance and 8.8% in Construction.
