Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the All industries workforce in the South West Queensland ROC in 2021shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Managers (2,795 local workers or 22.0%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (1,791 local workers or 14.1%)
- Labourers (1,779 local workers or 14.0%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 6,365 people in total or 50.1% of the All industries local workers.
In comparison, Queensland employed 12.4% as Managers; 13.7% as Technicians and Trades Workers and 10.1% as Labourers.
