Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the City of Joondalup in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Education and Training (356 million or 23.5%)
- Retail Trade (267 million or 17.6%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (137 million or 9.0%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 759 million in total or 50.1% of the total exports by industry in the the City of Joondalup.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 1.3% in Education and Training; 1.1% in Retail Trade and 2.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
