Output by industry is a gross measure of the total sales of each industry sector in Snowy Monaro Regional Council area. It does not measure how productive each industry sector is at producing this output - which is measured by value added.

- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($430 million or 12.0%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $1,596 million in total or 44.5% of the total output by total industry in the Snowy Monaro Regional Council area.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in NSW accounted for 13.4% in Construction; 2.7% in Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services and 2.5% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing.
