Analysis of the jobs held by the resident workforce in the Town of Cambridge in 2021shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,738 people or 18.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (2,298 people or 15.3%)
  • Education and Training (1,506 people or 10.0%)

In combination these three industries employed 6,542 people in total or 43.6% of the total resident workforce.

In comparison, Western Australia employed 13.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 6.9% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services and 8.8% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the resident workforce of the Town of Cambridge and Western Australia were:
