Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the Cumberland Council area in 2018/19 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing (3,646 million or 40.8%)
  • Wholesale Trade (2,275 million or 25.5%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (1,656 million or 18.5%)

In combination these three industries accounted for 7,578 million in total or 84.9% of the total exports by industry in the the Cumberland Council area.
