An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in Hilltops Council area in 2016/17 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Financial and Insurance Services ($93 million or 9.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services ($79 million or 7.9%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $498 million in total or 49.7% of the total imports by total industry in the Hilltops Council area.
