Dominant groups
An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in the Lockyer Valley Regional Council in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:
- Construction ($909million or 33.1%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($273million or 9.9%)
- Manufacturing ($191million or 7.0%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $1,373 million in total or 50.0% of the total local sales by total industry in the the Lockyer Valley Regional Council.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Queensland accounted for 20.2% in Construction; 1.9% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing and 7.7% in Manufacturing.
