Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the Nambucca Valley in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (65 million or 24.3%)
  • Manufacturing (38 million or 14.3%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (28 million or 10.6%)

In combination these three industries accounted for 132 million in total or 49.2% of the total exports by industry in the the Nambucca Valley.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 4.1% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 14.3% in Manufacturing and 2.4% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the total exports by industries of the Nambucca Valley and New South Wales were:

  • A larger percentage of total exports by Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (24.3% compared to 4.1%)
  • A smaller percentage of total exports by Financial and Insurance Services (0.7% compared to 14.5%)
