An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the City of Newcastle in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing (5,998 million or 19.7%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (4,578 million or 15.1%)
  • Mining (3,839 million or 12.6%)
