Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the RDA Eyre Peninsula Region in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing (1,554 million or 39.4%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (1,267 million or 32.1%)
- Mining (505 million or 12.8%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 3,326 million in total or 84.3% of the total exports by industry in the the RDA Eyre Peninsula Region.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in South Australia accounted for 19.1% in Manufacturing; 11.4% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing and 4.4% in Mining.
The major differences between the total exports by industries of the RDA Eyre Peninsula Region and South Australia were:
- A larger percentage of total exports by Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (32.1% compared to 11.4%)
- A larger percentage of total exports by Manufacturing (39.4% compared to 19.1%)
