Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the Broome in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Mining (3,869 million or 81.9%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (201 million or 4.3%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (139 million or 2.9%)

In combination these three industries accounted for 4,208 million in total or 89.1% of the total exports by industry in the the Broome.
