Dominant groups

An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the Broome in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($459 million or 38.9%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services ($182 million or 15.4%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services ($127 million or 10.7%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $768 million in total or 65.0% of the total imports by industry in the the Broome.
