Dominant groups

Analysis of the jobs held by the resident workforce in Gunnedah Shire in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Mining (739 people or 13.7%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (737 people or 13.7%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (549 people or 10.2%)
