An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Rockhampton Regional Council area in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services (836 million or 22.3%)
  • Mining (645 million or 17.2%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (548 million or 14.6%)
